Disclaimer:
Please note The Insurer of State is solely conceptual. Citizens or entities should not perceive it to be a regulator, regulated entity, state-run institution or indeed in possession of a UK Government mandate or Royal Warrant.
For the avoidance of doubt, all content herein is designed for illustrative purposes only.
The Insurer of State is a novel research project to establish the feasibility of creating a new institution and risk balance sheet for the UK.
Born from the depths of Covid and a joint activism project known as Totus Re, the concept, essays and papers that will be shared here are purely designed to enable policymakers fast track delivery of this institution for the British people.
The work undertaken is to serve as a "policy-in-a-box" function, a single-policy think tank, which creates a deliverable and complete strategic vehicle to the Government of the day.
The concept, site and community of advisors and stakeholders are non-partisan by nature, working in coalition to establish the feasibility of this project. Some professionals engaged by the project may receive fees for their time.
The Insurer of State is a not-for-profit endeavour and all intellectual property, content and output from the project shall be gifted to the British people upon completion.
